My name is Marina Palumbo, and I have started an organization called Rays for Restaveks to support restavek schools in Haiti. Restaveks are Haitian children who are sent to live with another family because their own family cannot afford to feed them. The new family is expected to provide food, shelter, and education to the children in exchange for work. The restaveks are often enslaved, abused, and underfed. The only hope in their lives are the schools they attend, which give the children the education they need to overcome poverty. 

I am selling necklaces to raise funds and awareness for the restaveks in Haiti.  For your donation, you can enjoy a hand-crafted item, and know that the money donated will go towards Cross International, who will use the money to support a school for these children. 100% of the proceeds are used for this purpose.
