On November 11th I will join other professional umpires (both Major League and Minor League) and play in the 2nd Annual UMPS CARE Charities 100 Hole Golf Marathon at Augusta Ranch Golf Course here in Mesa, Arizona. Our goal is to raise money and awareness for UMPS CARE Charities youth programs. Proceeds from the event provide:

• VIP baseball experiences for children awaiting adoption and at-risk youth in mentoring programs, 
• Build-A-Bear Workshop experiences for children coping with cancer and other serious illness,
  
• Behind the scenes event to recognize efforts of youth baseball players who exhibit a high level of sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for the game of baseball,
• and Financial support for families in need.

BASE ON BALLS = $10 Donation ($0.10 pledge per hole)
SINGLE =  $25 Donation ($0.25 pledge per hole)

HOME RUN = $100 Donation ($1.00 pledge per hole)
