Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Like I told you in my email, I've made a commitment to participate in Hoops of Hope, a free throw shooting marathon, on Saturday August 22 at Second Baptist Church, Houston.  I'm pledging to shoot free throws for ONE HOUR in the good ole Texas sun.  I'm doing this to help bring Christian relief to children in Zambia through World Vision.  I'm inspired by the vision and hearts of the young people who started Hoops of Hope!  If you are reading this, you've been greatly blessed, so please share those blessings with others.  Lets do something together and watch what the Lord will do with it!

Over the past five years, Hoops of Hope participants have raised over 1 million dollars. The money raised by participants has gone to sponsor over 100 orphans, fund a water project in Kenya and build a high school and two medical clinics in Zambia.  Across the world over 5,700 children every day are losing one or both parents to HIV and AIDS.

This event will be in conjunction with the Connect 3on3 basketbal tournament at the Woodway Campus.  I'm doing this to help children who have been orphaned by HIV and AIDS in Africa and other parts of the world.
