Mark Fuhrman's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
I have decided to run the NYC Marathon as a tribute to my father Harold Fuhrman who suffered a major stroke on October 14th, 2008 and passed away on January 19th, 2009. He fought so hard to try and recover from his stroke. My family and I have been doing volunteer work for the National Stroke Association which is located in Colorado and I am running on the National Stroke Association team.
I am not a runner, but have been training for about 15 weeks now. The longest run I completed prior to this marathon was the Boulder Bolder 10(k) in 1990. I am excited to support the NSA and run through the streets of NYC including Brooklyn where my dad was born.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Best,
Mark Fuhrman
