Celebrity Dancer: Mark Nagi
Age: 36... but I don't feel a day over 46.
Occupation: WATE-TV6 Sports Anchor/Reporter. Husband to my wife Jennifer, and Father to Lillian, our 3-year-old daughter.
How you got roped into dancing?
“I've always enjoyed watching ‘ABC's Dancing With The Stars,’ and this was my opportunity to do my best Mario Lopez imitation. Most importantly though, I'm doing this to raise money to help with children's health care.”
Why should people vote for you?
“They should vote for me and my partner, the wonderful Heather Tang, because we plan on putting on a good show. At the same time we can hopefully bring in some dollars to assist with the home care of chronically ill children. Vote early and often people! Each and every vote is worth a buck for this worthy cause.”
“All it takes is a dollar and a dream! Even if you think my two left feet are going to do irreparable damage to the spirit of ‘The Hustle,’ send some votes (and dollars) my way!”
Pro: Heather Tang
Age: 31
Occupation: Dance Teacher
Dance Experience: I have been teaching dance (Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Ballroom) for 11 years. Specialize in teaching children (ages 3 and up) to dance. Run a small studio for Children's dance (Dance with Mrs Heather) at the Historic Grove Theater, focusing on making dance affordable for everyone. Teach children's ballroom at Academy Ballroom and Dance Dimensions.
Why are you doing this event? My middle daughter was diagnosed with Asthma after having RSV. The children's hospital was, and is, always wonderful with her- this is a way to give back and hopefully help. Plus I love kids and love to dance!
Why should people vote for you/donate? to help the hospital- and I want to bet my husband (
Johnny Tang)! Mark and I are bringing the 70's back!
