Mark Schall - The NYC Gay Men's Chorus Needs Your Support
The chorus I've been singing with for 15 years, and which I love dearly, The New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, needs your support. Please help us reach our 30th season by making a tax-deductible contribution today.
With almost thirty years of history, innovative programs, and service to the LGBT community, NYCGMC is renowned for producing legendary performances, commissioning new works, and taking a leading role in the movement for social justice. From Carnegie Hall to City Hall, from the advent of AIDS to the struggle for marriage equality, NYCGMC and its sister groups in Big Apple Performing Arts - including the Youth Pride Chorus, which engages the voices of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and straight allied youth ages 13-21 in the movement for social change - have been at the vanguard of our community since 1980.
Please consider making a donation of one of the following amounts:
$30 ($1 per year the chorus has been singing).
$15 ($1 for each year I have been singing with the chorus).
Or you can help sponsor a song with a $200 pledge!
We continue to examine every aspect of our finances, retiring debt, lowering our operating costs and making difficult decisions that will allow us to continue our mission, but we cannot do it without you. Please give now.
Thank you so much. Enjoy the video of us below, and view more at
