Eight years ago, our son Logan passed away at the age of 2 months.  He was diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia in utero.  After he was born, he was also diagnosed with a coarctation of the heart.  After several surgeries and a battle with pneumonia, he lost his fight.  We, as a family were heartbroken to lose our son after such a tremendous effort to keep him alive. 

This will be the 4th year where Team Logan has participated in the Bop Top in memory of our son.  We are thankful for our friends and family who support us in raising money for Riley Children's Hospital by participating in this event.   Contributions made will help the many children and families, like ourselves, who depend on Indiana's first and only comprehensive pediatric facility.  These donations will ultimately help Riley Hospital achieve medical milestones that translate directly to improved care and lives saved.

We are designating that all donations go towards the RIley ECMO unit which were responsible for giving our son a chance to survive past the delivery room.  Without this life-support system, many sick babies would not have the chance to fight their illnesses like Logan did.  We are grateful for the 52 days we got to spend with our courageous son.
