Hey!

My name is Mark Tom and this is my first year running the marathon with TWV and I am very excited for the upcoming challenges in both my training and my fundraising. I am still in recovery from an injury this past winter and have only begun to train within the past two or so months. Despite this hardship, the Lord has given me the strength to endure through it and to achieve greatness beyond what I thought capable of reaching. It is only by His grace and His healing that I am back on the streets and paths running again and so He is my only aim. He is my only prize. To give glory to His name. And that is why I run.

It gives me great pleasure to run with TMW as it has provided the opportunity for me to raise support and awareness for children so desperate for the Lord's hand in their lives. They work to diminish the struggles of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide essentials like clean water, health care, food, education, and more.
