Now that all the snow is gone it is finally time for the 19th annual Polar Bear Plunge.  Delayed from the original date due to a "little snow" we are in the homestretch for this years "Plunge".  Please help us maintain all of our programs for our athletes.  The photo to the left is of one of our Snowshoe athletes @ the 2010 Winter Games - Wisp Resort in Western Maryland.  Many Special Olympic programs have dropped sports in the current economic times.  With the help of our supporters Special Olympics Delaware has been able to keep all of our programs going and have added Equestrian and Figure Skating this year.

At Special Olympics Delaware we are committed to always providing meaningful and memorable life experiences for all those who touch, or are a part of Special Olympics Delaware. Special Olympics changes peoples lives – the athletes, the families, the volunteers – and thus our communities through the development and realization of the human potential in all of us.
