Dear Family & Friends:

On November 1, I will be running the New York City Marathon.  This will be my first marathon and what a great one to start with!  Go big or go home, right!! When the opportunity to pair my love of running with a wonderful cause presented itself - I knew I had to do it.   

 My dad suffered a stroke 3 years ago, so I know how critical it is to recognize the warning signs and seek treatment immediately.  The National Stroke Association is a wonderful foundation with the resources to raise awareness and provide educational opportunities for many stroke victims and families.

 I'm very excited to run this race, and even more, I am honored to support my dad and this great cause.  I realize times are extremely tough, but I would greatly appreciate any donation that you could contribute.
