The Ride is over, but HIV/AIDs is not. Donations are continuing, and I have MORE TO RAISE. Please Donate.
Must hit $3,500!
Hi,
My name is Mark Ferrando. I don't know anyone with Aids. (At least to my knowledge). What I do know is that it's out there. What I do know is that it affects people lives and the people around them. I am doing this ride to raise awareness both in myself and in the people that I am surrounded by. I ask all of you to help me raise money for those who suffer from this epidemic.
Breaking the Cycle is working to break the cycle between homelessness and HIV/AIDS!
Housing Works is the largest grassroots AIDS organization in the U.S. They are a healing community of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Their mission is to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS through relentless advocacy, the provision of lifesaving services. Braking the Cycle is a 285 mile, fully supported ride from Boston to New York to help raise money for this fine organization. By supporting me on this ride, you are supporting these people who are in need!
This is my first year riding to break the cycle. Let's stop the cycle THIS year.
(Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Otherwise, you can mail a check. Contact me at markcferrando@yahoo.com.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!)
