As you may know, we're going on an adventure we're calling Long Way Up (inspired by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman's Long Way Round and Long Way Down series), riding our motorcycles on a 2,000 mile journey from Tennessee to Wisconsin, then around Lake Michigan and back.

In addition to experiencing the joy of heading out on our bikes and seeing the Midwest on roads less traveled, we're hoping to spread the word and raise support for Riders for Health, an international non-profit organization that helps bring health-care to rural African villages by providing health workers with reliable transportation.

Our goal is to raise $4,000, enough to buy two bikes for African health workers. This breaks down to $2/mile. We hope you'll make a contribution at whatever level is right for you. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.
