My story about the puppy in the picture:
Her name is Shila. My husband had seen a picture of about five fluffy baby strays posted to a soda machine with a small story. The person that posted it explained that a pregnant stray momma had given birth on their porch. She took care of the mother and her pups until they were old enough. She wasn't suppose to have dogs in her house but she didn't have the heart to turn them away. My husband knew that once I seen the picture I would want one and he was right. I called as soon as I could to arrange a meeting with the family caring for the pups. I had requested a female and luckily they had one, but that was it. They all were so cute and I would have loved to take them all but Shila was now coming home with me. She has turned out to be a beautiful dog with a great temperament. Two months after my husband and I took her in, we adopted another dog and they seem to be inseparable. I don't know what I would do without them.
