Our family will be carrying water and walking 5K on June 4 to help raise money for Water1st. We love this organization--they help provide clean water and toilets to people in impoverished communities around the world.

It sounds kinda boring, right? Water and toilets. Meh.

In reality, though, it's a big deal. A really big deal.

Every year, millions of children die from preventable illnesses because they don't have access to clean water. What's more, carrying the water means women and children can't go to school. This keeps them trapped in a cycle of poverty, a cycle that kills children, causes suffering, and robs people of their basic human dignity. We can break this cycle.

If you have money to spare, we'd love your support. For every $75 we raise, we provide one child with clean water, for life.
