World Vision

Orange County AIDS WATERWALK Newport Beach,  California

Marti Fischer's Page

Dear Friends:

Chandler - now 12 - is challenging me again to pick up the pace in World Vision’s Aids Walk for Orphans December 4th by encouraging you to help outrun the suffering of over 15 million children abandoned worldwide due to losing their parents to Aids.  Children are being orphaned at the rate of 6,000 a day, leaving that many helpless lives incarcerated in poverty. These orphans are hungry and alone. Millions more children are caring for sick and dying parents, unable to stay in school and barely able to provide for themselves.

It is a true global catastrophe.

Together, we can do something to relieve this tragic suffering that clearly and unjustly separates healthy children like Chandler from kids whose lives are determined by where they live.

The going rate for such change is not cheap and that is why we need you to run the race with us by giving your gift of any amount to provide orphans and vulnerable children with compassionate care, education and skills training to help them build a better future.

Should you join us, make a tax-deductible donation by clicking on the Give Now button above. All funds raised will go toward World Vision’s work to help children in communities severely affected by HIV/AIDS.

On behalf of Chandler, our three World Vision sponsored children and children all over the world, thank you for joining the race to run faster than ever to reach many.

Marti and for Chandler Fischer
