This is all about kids and their families.

I am happy to be on the Board of Starlight after being a supporter almost from its very first year.

One of their earliest events was a fund-raising premiere at the Motion Picture Academy which was to benefit Starlight.  Soon after the film started, my wife got a message that her mother had died. We quickly raced to the airport to catch a plane to New York. Because her mother’s greatest philanthropic interest was for children’s needs, we made a commitment to be a long-time Starlight supporter as a tribute to her.

Starlight is a most unique organization that combines technology, child care, pediatrics, and entertainment to help kids and their families every day in every way they can.  We all know what it can mean to help young people and their families as they cope with their pain, fear, and isolation. We link kids to kids, families to families, in hospitals and at home.  We want kids to be kids. We want parents and siblings  to know they are not alone.
