Having two sons with Autism will light a fire under you. For me, it has caused a career change (I am going back to school for occupational therapy), I am a calmer, more patient parent to my children, and I am constantly learning about Autism and its treatments to help Steve and Dave reach their fullest potential.

Autism affects 1 in 110 children, yet, sadly, funding for research to determine a cause is alarmingly low. My family and I want to do our part and be proactive in this effort to raise funds.

But we can't do it alone. I am running my first half-marathon in Pittsburgh in May to raise money for the Organization for Autism Research. All we need you to do is spread the word.
