My boys, Steve and Dave, were both diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum within the last year. Steve is 4 and Dave is 3. It has been a struggle some days, but we have learned the value of the little things in life, and they have taught us so much! We are seeing progress every day! Awareness, support, and lots of hope are needed to continue that progress.

Autism York is one organization that provides such support. They offer programs and special speakers, a resource library, and events and activities for the kids. They have been a great resource for our family, as well as the community.

Autism affects 1 in 150 children - 1 in 70 boys. Chances are my sons are not the only children you know who are affected.
