As the leading disease cause of death in children, a brain tumor diagnosis is especially devastating. Most families will require a wide array of support services in order to get through the difficult time of their child’s diagnosis and treatment. Because many children are left with lifelong disabilities and deficits, some families will continue to require support long after the child’s initial diagnosis.
Since 1983, the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children has assisted countless children and families by providing emergency financial assistance, information and education, social and emotional support, research funding, and much more
