Dear Friends,

For the past six years I have had the honor and privilege to work for the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children. I cannot tell you how enriched my life is because of all the wonderful children and families I have had the privilege to know and love. It is terrible, however, to see what these brave children (and their families) must go through.

I have decided this year – in honor and in memory of the many, many beautiful children I have met through the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children – to run the 5K in this important event.  Because I have never been a runner, I will have to work hard to get ready, but I think I can do it. I have also pledged to raise funds to support the cause and I would love it if you will join me at the starting line on November 3^rd and/or make a donation to my fundraising page.

While the Board of Directors and Staff at the Brain Tumor Foundation pride ourselves in the direct support services we offer, and while we will always place a strong emphasis on this invaluable type of suport, this year all proceeds from William’s Walk & Run will be used to support pediatric brain tumor research.  It is so important that we find a cure!

Please join me and TEAM BTFC in making a difference for the many children who have been affected by this devastating diagnosis and those who may be diagnosed in the future.
