To my friends & family:

Ike was rescued recently along with 80 other cats & kittens from a hoarding situation.  MHS staff said that the conditions were horrible where they came from. 

Fostering 11 animals at one time is not easy.  It required me to empty a bedroom of its furniture so I would have room for beds, litterboxes & toys.  It's cleaning litterboxes, vaccuming, every day.  But I do it because I love being a foster parent and I am proud to say that I did my part to help this rescue effort.

We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful humane society like MHS available to us.  Alot of people think things like hoarding, neglect, cruelty, don't happen around here, they do.  

 I think about Ike and all my other fosters and wonder what would have happened to them if MHS hadn't gone in and rescued them from the horrid conditions they were living in?  Would they have even survived?
