NEVER FORGET SUMMER SKYE on
Saturday, May 6, 2006 at the 12th Annual Bay Area Angel Adventure in Golden Gate Park, Speedway Meadow registration at 8:00, walk to begin at 9:00 amSummer met other survivors through the NBTF and drew strength and hope from them knowing she was not alone. Share her passionate pursuit to find a cure and help us raise money and awareness of brain tumors by donating today.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! WE'VE MET OUR GOAL OF $5,000.00!!!!
THANK YOU all for your donations and for helping us to realize our dream of continuing SUMMER'S LEGACY! We have 30 friends who will be joining us at Speedway Meadows on Saturday, May 6th and there is plenty of room for more of you. Now we dare to raise our financial goal to $10,000.00.
WE CAN DO THIS PEOPLE!
Just as Summer and I did last year, NEVER FORGET SUMMER SKYE team will march in memory of Barry's colleague Jim Silva of TRI Commercial who lost his brave battle against brain cancer last year. We send our love to his family and children and invite them to march with us.
Once again, we will honor Jennifer Neale, brain cancer survivor and activist who was Summer's mentor and dear friend and remains close to our family.
My eyes well up in tears as I write this to know how many people connected to us have been touched by or lost a loved one to this ravaging disease and at the time of Summer's diagnosis in October 2003 brain cancer wasn't even on our radar screen!!
No wonder Summer was so determined to do all she could to raise awareness!!

SATURDAY WAS A GREAT DAY!
We DID it!!! Over 50 NEVER FORGET SUMMER SKYE team members joined us at Speedway Meadows and our team raised nearly $15,000.00, WAY OVER our original goal of $5,000.00!!! The National Brain Tumor Foundation exceeded its goal of $500,000.00 as well!!! What an exhilarating day for us ALL!!
Thank you for making our dream come true TEAM!
Please surround your healing love and prayers to the family of Debbie Parsons Roth as Debbie passed away Saturday during the Walk and now will be at peace. Summer and Debbie are now Angels together watching over all of us.
Our hearts ache at our loss of these wonderful women who gave us such inspiration on their health journeys.
