This picture reflects the first plunge of Super Plunge 2009. I got caught by one of those big waves that you see behind the group. Not a flattering picture but one that I am very proud of.

I have been involved with Special Olympics Illinois and Special Olympics Athletes for the past 23 years. I am the Leg Leader for Leg 14 of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (Du Page County) and I am also on the Law Enforcement Torch Run State Committee. I can say that I have made some great friends over the years that have changed my life and my way of thinking. I truly admire each and every athlete who participates in Special Olympics.
