I am so proud to be part of the NF team once again for the Boston Marathon 2010!!   I have been so fortunate to meet the most amazing people and families that work really hard to raise money for NF.  I have a short story that forever changed me during my run in Boston last year:  Up to this point in time I really wanted to finish strong....break a personal best....complete the run of my life.  Well, along the way at about half way through the marathon a guy came running next to me.  He too was wearing a NF fundraiser shirt....we did our introductions and then he told me why he was running: his friend was in the hospital at that very moment with his child that had NF.  He told me his child would probably not come home.  I almost stopped in my tracks.  My eyes filled up and for the first time I realized that it didn't matter how I placed, when I finished or how I did.    I am running for a hopeful cure one day.  I want to say that my efforts in however small they may be will somehow help and change just one child and family at a time.   I thank you so much for any donation that you are able to give.
