Bowl for Kids Sake 2011
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Central Ohio Inc!
Believe it or not it is that time of year again. Our BFKS campaign has started. Actually, we have our first school bowl on February 3rd. From there it is nonstop bowling until May. We will be having events in all of the counties that we serve: Wayne, Holmes, Harrison, Carroll and of course Tuscarawas. In spite of the economy, we need to work much harder this year to fund our programs. When times are tuff our numbers always increase. We have over 80 children on our waiting list at this moment waiting for a volunteer to come along and take them on. We are trying very hard to keep the waiting littles involved in activities right along with our matched littles. We are, of course, always looking for volunteers. Without our donors and supporters we would not be here today and we would not be able to have the activities for these kids that we have and we would not be able to get them matched with caring adults. Remember:
The MISSION of BBBS is to develop and nurture quality relationships between children and adults to guide each child toward becoming a confident, competent and caring adult.
