Here’s your chance.
I promised the creatures at the shelter I would personally raise $2500 - seemed like I could probably do that. Of course a character fault on my part might be that I aim ridiculously high for the creatures I care so much about.
But then, we endured the death of our beloved big Boxer, Paco.
Then I began in ernest, to memorialize that special dog, I became driven to raise as much as I could. I uppped my goal to $3500.
While Esmee and our newest girl, Bonnie, watch their mother push to the limit. NOt only am I raising personal goal, I am also in charge of the entire event, we at NHHS expect to raise $25,000. So in real terms the bar is very high indeed.
We know how much animals bring to our lives, lives that so often are consumed by work, driving to work, thinking about work, and not everyone can look at themselves in the mirror every day, getting ready for work and say, "I truly make a difference". I do have that priviledge, and luxury.
I believe New Hampshire Humane Society is a resource unmatchable in the community - a safe place for abused, unwanted, unloved animals.
We fix em up, mentally, physically, emotionally and they find wonderful homes.
Make a difference in the lives of these creatures, help me keep my promise to them. ....

Paco died today. He suffered a massive seizure, a consequence of the brain tumor he was battling. A more loyal and devoted dog we will probably never find again in this lifetime.
He will not be at Woofstock this year, perhaps in spirit we may feel his presence, he was the undefeated SHOE PILE CHAMPION - unbeatable at finding the Vienna Sausage in the pile of shoes!
For Paco's sake, to all who knew and loved him, all the folks that found themselves squashed with love as he tried to manoever his 80LB frame onto their laps, please now more than ever, help me reach my goal.
