As the Development/Events/Volunteer/PR Director at New Hampshire Humane Society - the non profit animal welfare charity I work tirelessly for (who could not care about the welfare of animals discarded by society) I want to do my best to help the organization at Dogtoberfest.
What is Dogtoberfest you might ask?
Well, an event, welcoming children, families and of course dogs. All who care about the lives of homeless animals will want to either start their own page, call me at 603-524-8236x309 if you need some help getting started yourself, or you could support my efforts reaching my goal for the animals.
Dogtoberfest, held at Belknap County Fairgrounds on October 11 2008 will be a day to show support of this shelter and the mission we uphold - "speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves".
What I will be doing..
Walking with my three Boxers, Esmee Angelina McGee, Bonnie Baker Bean, and Mason, the trust fund baby.:) Between us we want to reach our goal and ask everyone that knows us to help us achieve the lofty amount.. Last year you were so kind to help me raise over $4000 in memory of Paco.
Why I walk:
because I truly care about the welfare of the animals who arrive at the doorstep of this shelter. REmembering Bonnie, who would not be alive now, had she not had the option of coming to NHHS.
We resuce so many abused, unwanted dogs, and yes, if we were not here, their plight would be one of piling up on lifes scrap heap of discarded creatures.
So,I thank you in advance. The funds raised are not coded for my 'personal Aruba Fund" those that know me well have oft heard that little bit of humour.
I invite you to participate, but I thank you in advance for any contribution you feel comfortable making. For information about the event please go to www.nhhumane.org
