My wife and I have been a part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) program in the Minneapolis area for over a year now. We usually hang out with our Little Brother every other weekend. When I started the program, I thought that I needed to teach him a crucial life lesson every time we saw him but I've learned that all your really need to do is show him new things and have a good time. We play video games (his favorites are Spore and Minecraft), go geocaching, play chess, go fishing, and anything else kids like doing. He told me that when he grows up, he wants to become a video game developer or make websites. I've actually introduced him to programming on the Xbox and we've created a few small games.
