My Personal Message:

I am looking for your support in my latest endeavor.  I have signed up to run the Boston Marathon in April as a fundraiser for the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI).  Although, I have played various sports during my life (namely baseball and soccer), I have never been a distance runner.  I think prior to the start of training the longest distance I have run is about a mile.

 

 

The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary focuses not only on treating diseases and conditions relating to the eye, ear, nose, throat, head and neck, but also on training and educating people within these specialties.  They also perform various medical research that has helped lead to medical breakthroughs.  If you are interested in learning more visit their website at: www.meei.harvard.edu.  If you click on the learn more about us link you can see some of their past work and achievements.

 

 

For those of you who I have not met, or have not yet gotten to know:

I am in my final semester of law school.  It has been a personal goal of mine to run a marathon, how many people can say they have done that?  In the past I have had two collapsed lungs, and been diagnosed with a mild case of asthma, so running a marathon means more to me then just running a long distance.  The money I raise is being donated to MEEI for patient care.  I hope that my hard work, and suffering through a 26.2 mile run, can help make someone else’s life better.
