This is a very exciting year for me.  I am graduating from Manchester High School in Chesterfield, VA on June 11, 2010. 

I am very proud to  be representing Virginia and the National Olympics in Field and Track.  I will be competing in the 2000 meter, 800 meter, Javelin Toss as well as Team Relay.   

I have been training really hard for this and hopefully my training will pay off.

We have been invited to the Flying Squirrels(Richmond, VA Minor League Baseball Team) on July 16, 2010.  Team Virginia will be intorduced on the field prior to the game.  Please try to come and support us.

Every four years, thousands of Special Olympics athletes from around the nation come together to showcase their athletic skills and celebrate the true spirit of competition through summer sports. Through the 2010 Special Olympics National Games, Special Olympics athletes will transcend the boundaries of geography, political philosophy, gender, age, culture and religion. This event will transform participants, community leaders and fans nationwide through sportsmanship and spirited competition. These Games will help citizens throughout the United States appreciate the values of respect and inclusion, which the athletes and their supporters live by every day.

The event will be held from July 18-23, 2010, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my effort to get to Lincoln.
