Dear Family & Friends,
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! I am writing to inform you of the great things that are taking place in my life and about to happen. On August 8–17, 2010, I will be leaving for Johannesburg, South Africa on my first mission trip with other missionaries from within the area. The excitement of going to another part of the world to be used of God is beyond awesome, for we are to be witnesses to Him in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. I am very excited for the opportunity the Lord has granted.
God has been good to all of us, and we sometimes take His goodness for granted. The mission team I will be traveling with is well experienced and absolutely passionate about serving the Lord. I have been invited and would love to minister to (and with) the people in Johannesburg, South Africa.
I need your help as I answer the call on my life to go to the mission field. The cost of the trip is $3,500. With your support you will help me tremendously in this endeavor. I ask you now to prayerfully consider supporting me with a donation. You may be able to give $300, $200, or $100 but whatever you give will be needed and deeply appreciated.
Prayer also is being requested for the team as well as for myself. Some of the areas of ministry in Johannesburg will be both challenging and dangerous, but the prayers of the righteous avail much. I believe God for a mighty move of his hand and for many souls to be won for the kingdom of God.
All support should arrive at least by July 8, 2010 (prior to departure) because there are many arrangements to be made.
