Welcome to the 2009 USA Lightweight Men's 8+ fundraising page!  We are proud to announce that we will be representing the United States in Poznan, Poland this year at the FISA World Rowing Championships.  Last year in Linz-Ottensheim, Austria we captured a Gold Medal, and we hope to defend our title this year.  With your help, we can achieve this goal, and start the Road to London 2012 in strong style.  The Lightweight Men's 8+, however, is a non-Olympic event, and as such, we must raise the funds to cover the cost of the trip.  

In order to make this trip possible we must raise $30,000 to defray travel expenses, food, equipment rental, entry fees and room/board. Donations of any size will help to get us to the starting line in Poland. Individuals who contribute at least $100 will receive a signed picture of the team and donations over $500 will also receive an autographed USA Rowing T-Shirt. 

Any donations in excess of the $30,000 goal will be contributed to the Lightweight Victory Fund. The mission of this fund is to build an endowment that will continue to support USA Lightweight Men's rowing into the future.
