My name is Matthew Lee Sprain. I am 5 years old. I was diagnosed with aplastic anemia in 2008. In 2009, I received an autologous umbilical cord transplant. I was really sick. I was really sad when I lost my hair because of chemotherapy. I have done very well since my transplant and now I feel so much better and can play like I used to.
With the help of my parents (Mike and Patty Sprain), sisters (Adriana and Elizabeth), and my aunt Rachel, I am walking in the 2 mile Hope, Steps & A Cure Walk in Austin on April 18, 2010. I'm going to walk as much as I can, but I might need to ride my wagon the rest of the way. I'm walking in honor of my friends who have beat this disease and/or continue their fight. I'm also walking in memory of one very special friend. You don't have to donate alot. If you could, would you please sponsor me for $1.00 or anything you can give. I have lots of family and they have lots of friends so I know the one dollar bills can add up and can help us find a cure one day!
Thank you for visiting my page and for thinking about sponsoring me!
Love you all! Matthew Lee Sprain
