If you know me, you know I get ideas.  Will you please work with me to execute this one?

I suggested to Fr. Jeff Putthoff, executive director of Hopeworks 'n Camden, a powerful job training and literacy program, that on its Web site he might offer its friends the chance to create a fundraising page like this.  He executed the idea promptly and offered me the irresistible honor of creating the first fundraising page for Hopeworks, which you are now visiting.

I visited Hopeworks (http://www.hopeworks.org) and was so impressed with its trainees and with the young people who, thanks to it, are enrolled in college that I offered to lend a hand in development and fundraising for Hopeworks in honor of its tenth anniversary this year.  Hopeworks is about to open a new residential program, CRIB: a residence where eight graduates of Hopeworks will live and support each other while they are enrolled in college.  I'm committed to raising a thousand dollars for Hopeworks before the end of 2010.  If the Spirit moves you to contribute, I will be most grateful.  If she does not, I am grateful for your visit.
