Hi Everyone - 

As many of you know, in the summer of 2007, my father Manny was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, or LBD. It's not that well known, but LBD is the second leading form of neurodegenerative dementia in the United States behind Alzheimer’s disease.  It is characterized by progressive dementia coupled with physical symptoms similar to Parkinson’s disease.  The Lewy Body Dementia Association is the central organization for LBD. They provide information about the disease, offer assistance and support groups to families affected, and fund research to find a cure.

On October 11, 2009 - I'm scheduled to run the Chicago Marathon.  I'm asking for your support in sponsoring me in any portion of the race.   All donations through this website are tax deductible, and go straight to the LBDA.  Your support means a lot to me and my entire family.
