Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for Zoe's Race!!!

I am excited to run this year. I have brand new shoes and so far I have not worn them out running even once... But they are great to walk in!

Zoe's Race was created by a family my agency serves. This family needed to make their house accessible for their daughter and found the expenses involved in doing so insurmountable. The race was conceived as a fundraiser for families that need help making their homes accessible and it is great to be a part of something that is not only fun to participate in, but gives back to the community in a big way!

Zoe's Race has been around for 3 years and I am proud to have participated each time. This year I will be running with one of my students who has blown me away with his enthusiasm and athleticism- despite a developmental disability which many would see as a barrier to being so active, on our first long-distance run he ran 4+ miles at a very good clip, with a huge smile on his face and not one complaint. I wasn't even planning on running that far! I am inspired by his energy and this is why I enjoy working for the people I work for :)

With his encouragement, I will beat my time from last year (kinda sucked anyway- shouldn't be hard to do)
