Thank you for visiting The Blue Team's page for Autism Society of Central VA's annual 5K Run/Walk. We participate every year in honor of our son, Parker who has Asperger's Syndrome; blue is Park's favorite color, hence the team name, "The Blue Team!"

Parker is a smart, funny kid with a smile that can melt your heart. He is a talented cartoonist, comic actor and recently earned his brown belt in tae kwon do. We are very proud of him and all of his accomplishments. He continues to make great strides and works hard to overcome the challenges that come with his Asperger's.

If you are able, please come on out and walk/run with us in this year's 5K. Our family and many of our friends  have participated  for the past six years and we always welcome more  friends to join us! If you can't come out this year, consider a small donation to The Blue Team and the ASACV. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure.
