Hi All,

Thank you for checking out my fundraising site!  I'm raising money for the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for this deadly type of cancer.  My good friend from college, Sarah, lost her sister, Payton (see picture to the left), to this disease a little over three years ago. She was the very young age of 29.  There is currently no cure for carciniod cancer, but the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation is working to change that!  Every penny donated to the CFC Foundation is used to fund carcinoid research, so you can rest assured that your donation is going to good use.

As many of your know, I'm not a runner, but I managed to finish the race last year.  I also decided to eat everything in sight after I finished the race last year, which I will not repeat this year!  I'm participating again in the 13.1 mile Country Music Half Marathon and raising money for CFC. Please consider supporting this important cause.  No donation is too small, because every dollar gets us closer to curing carcinoid cancer! Thanks so much for your time!
