The Northeast Kidney Foundation is a voluntary health organization dedicted to improving the quality of life of those affected by kidney disease and related conditions through early identification, intervention and prevention; to promoting organ donation; and to empowering those we serve to be an effective voice for better healthcare at the local, state and federal levels. A grassroots, community focused organization, we serve 1.5 million people throughout Northeast New York and focus our work on the prevention of kidney disease, support services for those affected, public and clinical education, and healthcare advocacy at the state and federal levels. Serving kidney patients, family members, healthcare and academic professionals since 1974, our overall goal is simple - to make life better for those living with kidney disease and those affected by organ donation.
