I know Chris asked that we honor Darci by taking the time to show kindness to a stranger, but I found this great organization that will help me offer music to a stranger.  Plus I'm stuck all the way over in North Carolina and can't do anything useful to help out from here.  Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation (inspired by the movie!) donates musical instruments to underserved public school music programs.

Charity Navigator (http://www.charitynavigator.org/) gives Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation it's highest ranking of 4 stars.
