Hi there!

The animal shelter I work for holds a Walk for the Animals every year to raise money for the animals in our care. In fact, with 50+ local vendors, live music, food, 700 people and 250 dogs, it's our biggest fundraising event of the year. Our goal for 2012 is $85,000!

I'm largely responsible for planning this event, so while I probably won't be able to participate in the actual Walk, I'll be there making sure everything goes smoothly.

Could you help me make this a successful event by donating whatever you can? Even $2 feeds a cat or dog breakfast and dinner for one day. $10 pays for an animal to have a rabies vaccination. $25 pays for a dog's harness, leash, collar, and ID tags. And $50 spays or neuters a cat!

Whatever you can give will greatly help. My dog Isla says she's awfully grateful for the donations that supported her while she spent two weeks in quarantine at our shelter for kennel cough. I'm grateful, too; just look at her now!
