Hi Everyone!
I am following in my sister's footsteps and am now on the Lake Washington Dance Team! I'm really excited! This year our team is sponsoring an event to support Dreas Dream.
Dreas Dream is an organization that provides dance movement therapy ( similar to physical therapy ) to children with cancer and disabilities. It is run by a mother whos daughter had childhood cancer and benefited from dance therapy. It was this girls dream to become a dance movement therapist. The young girl grew up and was accepted into one of few masters programs when she was killed by a drunk driver. The mother has created the Andrea Rizzo Foundation: Dreas Dream in her memory.
The event is at Lake Washington High School on August 24th. We already have 10 teams coming to perform. I hope to raise as much money as possible to support this wonderful organization.
