John and I got involved with this foundation after having two friends lose their daughters within a year of one another and also having our own miscarriage.  It's so hard to know what to say or do or how to comfort those who are grieving their child.  Sometimes I am so overwhelmed with emotion myself as I think about infant loss or the loss of a child no matter what age.  It's something that no one is ever prepared to grieve through.  We anticipate our children out living us and seeing them grow and change and become adults.  No one ever imagines being at their child's funeral.

TEARS is helping families through their grief and also helping families honor the lives of their precious angels by providing financial support for funeral and burial costs. I'm grateful for the work they are doing and thankful that they are raising awareness to something that stuns us all and leaves us without words or knowing what to do.  This year will be Colorado's 2nd annual Colorado Rock & Walk, for more than a year TEARS has been supporting our local families.  Thank you for checking out my page and for any support you can offer.  If you can not donate, please come walk with us on Saturday June 23rd at America the Beautiful park at 9am.  I'd love to see you there.
