Come...Walk...Save Lives!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page! I am trying to raise money for the New Hampshire SPCA's Paws Walk 2009. The NHSPCA is in need of funds to help feed, house and care for animals who are desperate. Animals come to the NHSPCA abused, abandoned, unwanted, sick, hungry and lonely. I would like to tell you a story - Bingo's story.
Bingo is a 7-year-old rat terrier mix who was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded facility earlier this year. Years of living in a puppy mill in cramped quarters caused a deformity in Bingo’s front legs – he is unable to bend them. That doesn’t slow him down however, as Bingo’s foster mom I can tell you that once he arrived here at the NHSPCA and the Adoption Center staff began their excellent care of him, he was just like a puppy – running around in circles and full of energy.
Bingo is now enjoying his life as a very well-pampered pup. His new Dad, Chris writes, "Bingo met a girl, "Stella". She is twice his size, but quite smitten with him. "Stella" comes to visit once in a while. He likes to run in the back yard and chase the birds, keeping us all safe from, (birds) I guess. I kept the ramp I made for Mac. It makes it easier for him to get up and down the stairs to the yard. He lives like a king."
