AIDS Ride for Life 2011
Hi Everyone and thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
As I've been telling everyone for the past two months- since Mike and I decided to take on this endeavour at the end of February- I'm doing STAP's AIDS Ride for Life in Ithaca this September. While I'm really excited about the challenge of riding 100 miles in a single day (hopefully in less than 7 hours of saddle time), the day is really about charity, in this case, specifically about raising money to support the Southern Tier AIDS Program's Services.
STAP does some pretty great work in the Southern Tier. Founded in 1984 as a local response to the HIV epidemic, Southern Tier AIDS program provides not only effective and innovative HIV prevention, education, and outreach services to individuals and communities, but also Hepatitis C services and comprehensive care services to people living with HIV/AIDS.
Thanks so much for your generosity and helping Mike and I reach our goals. You guys are amazing!
