As most of you know I have Neurofibromatosis (NF for short). I found out in 2008. My dad has it, my grandfather had it and I think my 2 girls may have it. If you dont know what it is NF is a genetic disorder if the nervous system which causes tumors to form on the nerves anywhere on the body at any time. This progressive disorder effects all races and sexes equally. It happens in 1 in 2,500 to 3,000 people and is the most common genetic disorder in the USA. NF is more prevelent than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Huntington's Disease and Tay Sachs all combined.
