Dan and I are walking in the Cancer Support Center's Walk of Hope on May 16, 2010. We have chosen to walk and raise money for this organization because of all of the wonderful work that is done at the center. From individual cancer counseling, to support groups, to having resources available for cancer research, this center has everything patients and caregivers need to fight cancer. All of this is offered FREE to patients, caregivers, and families affected by cancer.

In March 2007, Dan and I became members of "those affected by cancer," when he was diagnosed and treated for brain cancer. The road to our new normal has been difficult and maybe things would have been easier to handle if we had a center like this in Minnesota for support. Even though we are three years out, we've found the offerings of this center helpful and supportive to us both.

We would appreciate any donations - big or small - to this organization... along with anyone that would like to join our team. Please donate online if you can, anything would be appreciated.
