POST EVENT UPDATE!
Thank you to the volunteers, DJs, and guests who contributed to this event. While it fell short of our $ goal, we are still very proud of what we can offer M.S.F. as a token of our respect to what they do in the field, in Haiti and all over the world.
We will resume this page for a few days and solicit your direct contributions to MSF, and then close the page & project out with our total contribution between events & online contributions. *Good Night!
Jason
Thank you for visiting the MERCY & MUSIC Fundraising Page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support-- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
On Thursday, January 28th, 2010 I will be assisting in the first annual Mercy & Music Event. We will be asking $10 at the entry of this event that will go directly to M.S.F. (Doctors Without Borders) as their services are critical in Haiti's recovery. It will include performances by many of Honolulu's top DJs spinning caribbean and dance music on two area stages at Bar 35 (35 N. Hotel St.) in Downtown Honolulu. Please contact me directly to inquire more about this event, or to volunteer your assistance. melaniep@pacificbasin.net This MERCY & MUSIC event will go from 8pm to 12am. The event is restricted to 21+, but those under that age may contribute here on this site!
Our target for this first event is $2000, hopefully we can surpass this amount, but we are trying to set a foundation to build on for years to come to support this organization's work worldwide.
PLEASE NOTE! If you cannot attend this event, but would still like to assist in what this event is about, donate directly to M.S.F. here on this sight. If you are planning to attend the event, please donate directly here, print out your donation receipt and bring it with you the event, this would make the volunteer' jobs a lot easier! Thank you!
