Stephanie Hart is our dear cousin/daughter/friend! She is an amazing 18 year old woman who faces her many challenges with an inspiring amount of courage and spirit. Stephanie has Cerebral Palsy but she does not let that stop her from enjoying life and enriching the lives of others.

Stephanie attends the Hopkinton Respite Center (a.k.a The Michael Carter Lisnow Respite center) almost daily. Through the respite center, she is able to interact with her community in a very positive and mutually beneficial manner. Not only does the HRC assist those with special needs but it also engages teens from local high schools, young adults who have court appointed community service and volunteers from all walks of life. When I visited the HRC, I was so amazed by the sense of community and energized enthusiasm of the people who shared their time. I truly believe that every community in the world would benefit greatly if they were able to establish a facility using the HRC as its model.

Team Stephanie is hoping you will sponsor us in our endeavor to raise money for the HRC while we attempt to complete the 2010 Boston Marathon. Except for Melissa, none of us have ever completed a marathon but with your support we plan to start and finish as a team!
