Dear Family and Friends,

Thank you for visiting my Haiti Living Water fundraising page.  The Haitian people have been on my heart for many months, and I know with certainty that this is the project that I have been called to help with.

Nearly four thousand children die every day because they do not have clean water to drink.  As a parent, I cannot imagine watching this happen, and being helpless to do something to save my child's life.  Haiti's children are in an especially horrible situation after being hit by the earthquake and then a tropical storm.  Most families are still living in makeshift tents even months after the first disaster hit.  They are vulnerable to violent crime, starvation, illness, and very unsanitary living conditions. 

Fresh water is a must, or the death toll will continue to rise.  I feel blessed to be part of this project where even the smallest give makes a big impact, and actually saves lives every single day.  The gift of a water system keeps on giving once it has been purchased and installed.  Water Missions International is taking as many water systems to Haiti as possible, but they need our help to do so.
